SamuelNZ / Jerry1211 VMRadar Repos Gone?

Was using the SamuelNZ VMRadar until yesterday, then it looked like it was shut down and Jerry1211 merged into their repo. Now both are offline. I see that Jerry1211 posts here, any chance I could get an update? Is there a Discord or some kind of chat method I can reach out to you guys on?

Trying to run on a laptop, loads up fine but screen stays grey. What info do I need to diagnose?

Everyone has established if you run it on the same PC, VM or not, you will get banned. We need to hear from the people who are running it on a second PC.

I was running on same PC with VMWare for two days. No ban. Today it just kicks you off if you're running VMWare. No ban, just a kick until you turn off VMWare.

@Krypt0HaZe that wasn't it. I know it stays grey until you join a game. Stayed grey after joining a game too until I used ARPSPOOF.

When using second PC, I just get a grey screen on the map unless I use ARPSPOOF. When using ARPSPOOF the lag in the game is almost unplayable though. Any way to not use ARPSPOOF on a second PC?

@Pochtidruid I tried directly connecting my laptop (middle pc) to my desktop (gaming PC). Gaming PC has two Ethernet ports. One to switch (and then onto router), and then one to the laptop.

I bridged the two Ethernet ports and it was actually more laggy than not bridging and just ARPSPOOFING.

I'll try again with IP routing on the laptop and report back.

Enabling IP Routing on the middle PC running ARPSPOOF did the trick!

@Xero852 and how its work for u? i mean, when i used middle pc - radar was useless #65 - many lags/freezes/fantom marks/most people are not displayed, because of this I had to abandon middle pc and use the radar with the game on game PC without a VM.

@Pochtidruid i used it on linux on 2nd pc, but now im searching info about 2nd pc because of ban wave. Not sure if they can detect radar that way, mby with DTLS somehow. So i want to figure out is it safe using radar with 2nd PC atm.

@Cron5 Yeah second PC/laptop is running Windows 10 as well. Haven't tried any Linux distros. Setup would be similar.

@Pochtidruid It has always worked well for me, I started using VMRadar in VMWare Workstation and never had issues. Sometimes I find radar freezes but alt+tab in and out of game a few times usually fixes it.

I've also noticed that running VLC Media Player on my gaming PC sometimes messes up radar for some reason.

I can confirm it works on second PC

Group of friends and I altered this, changed sprites and some zoom distances but works great. Also using a separate launch method with a condensed JAR file for easy distribution/sharing/launching

For VMs - Battleeye detects VMWare but not the application. BattleEye is KICKING and not banning that I've seen. You close vmware and relaunch.

To reiterate - 2 months + on second PC and this is still working.

Can confirm too, it works on second PC - 3h without bans, my second acc was banned after 15-20 min of 1st game after running radar

in the SamuelNZ page there was a step by step to make airspoof work, i don't remember the link, someone have it?

@diegodp if we talk about Win - just type in cmd "cd path to arpsoof" then "arpspoof.exe game_pc_ip" done. dont close the window and run jar from another cmd

@pochtidruid i got a lot of lag wen my laptop is arpspoof my gamepc.. You have the same problem? How is youre second pc connected? Wireless or wired?

My setup is ethernet on de game pc and laptop is connected to wireless extender.

arpspoof made huge lag cuz it's will make packet replay. Now i'm running radar without arpspoof in 2nd pc, i use iptable on router to copy udp packet to 2nd pc.

I have a laptop on wifi and game pc on ethernet. I would like to connect laptop True second ethernet port on game pc and then share the wired internet from game pc to laptop. What do i need? Im going to pc shop in an hour to buy what i need to make this work..

@hkuuki I'm less inclined to believe SamuelNZ actually did anything other than post this repo cosidering he removed it because it was "detected" lol

It isn't detected on 2nd PC from my experience of several months.

I get that BattleEye kicks for VMWare but thats a kick and a topic in their forums currently - not a ban.

Use a diff VM platform, seems to be fine.

@caoliu1118 LAN for middle/radar PC. Wifi sucks in general.

@NatsumeZhang I'm not running radar on game PC. Running it on game PC will get you banned fast.

@CatFaced Most VM platforms will not support OpenGL at a high enough version for the radar map to render. Therefore they won't work. VirtualBox doesn't work, Hyper-V doesn't work, haven't tried ESXi... It might but I'm not using a enterprise hypervisor to cheat at a game. It's a bit overkill.

I was also planning on using a remote machine running windows and a VPN. Then just use RDP. Unfortunately the RDP display driver doesn't support OpenGL properly either.

i am using 2 pc, and vpn connecting fine, the files load properly but it say 0 with gray screen and no map display after i run the games.
