Issue

I wish there was an easy way to quickly toggle between models with custom aliases. I'm switching between Sonnet 3.5 (via Openrouter) and DeepSeek Coder during chats (Coder for 80% case, Sonnet for cleaning up and solving edge cases). I have to /model … and do the manual dance then and even with auto-completion it is quite some mental load and work. I wish I could set aliases, e.g. sonnet to mean openrouter/anthropic/claude-3.5-sonnet.

Thanks for trying aider and filing this issue.

You can use up arrow and control-R to go back through previous commands. So you can search back for prior /model commands that you want to reuse.
