What is AirFlow?

Air pollution is a deadly, man-made problem, responsible for the

early deaths of some 7,000,000 people every year,

around 600,000 of whom are children.*

It is estimated that

But what can we do against it? What can be done to reduce air pollution for citizens from Stuttgart to Shanghai immediately and in the long run?

Our Answer: The intelligent gathering and use of air pollution data for …

§ Citizens - especially the most vulnerable (i.e. children, elderly) A mobile App to find the lowest Air-Pollution routes from A to B. -> Immediate reduction of the exposure to air pollution

§ Cities / Communities High-Resolution, real time mapping and forecasts of air-pollution -> Empower communities to take action for the reduction of overall air pollution

Our Approach: The use of artificial intelligence to combine data from stationary and mobile sensors, satellites and weather stations.

For its outstanding concept, the AirFlow-Team was awarded a Microsoft AI for Earth Grant.

AFQ AIR FLOW QUALITY Pathfinder - Prototype 4 Berliners - AI* Solution by mobile measurement of dynamic points at vehicles, locations and via satellite in real-time

The mission of our international AIR FLOW Quality Pathfinder Project are

our team is going to create practical know-how within AI*- :

Ø A blueprint of an AI-based and dynamic AIR FLOW Quality Pathfinder Prototype for the healthier option for everyone

“How to move from A to B at the inner part city of Berlin”.

                         The health for each human being is the purpose: 
                          The TOP is the lowest pollution-score for the navigation-routing.

Our AFQ-Pathfinder as solution should create leverage by systems, structures and processes:

Ø How “To move from A to B” we will map in real-time - by AI based scenarios - the dynamic of pollution data from satellites, local vehicles and stations. TOP for the health of each human mover is the lowest pollution-score for his walk/drive for example micro-plastics, NOx, CO², temperature, wind direction and knots.

Our responsibility, ownership and commitment is looking towards the customers satisfaction by our creativity and involvement

to serve by identifying sources and scores of the flow of air-pollution to reduce our chronical illness potentials of human beings.

Ø Our youngest and oldest people

Ø Engaged breathing sportive people like biker or jogger.

Further on for

Ø Pedestrians beside the traffic of vehicles

Ø People living besides the roads

Ø Passengers in each vehicle.

Our AFQ Team is initial sponsored by the worldwide AI Earthlab from Microsoft at Richmond/USA

for further designing and developing the technical tool and the systematical invention.

In view of the need of human health by the air pollution

our AFQ team will find a translation by interaction and

by the demands towards a business environment of the future.

Ø To design AI based air pollution scenarios locally at Berlin besides a famous busline

Ø To require and evaluate relevant air quality data sources in real-time by links from other stakeholders
