View Plus support #30

Is it possible to read sensor values from View Plus also using Bluetooth LE? Could we extend this library to provide an example how to do it? I was not able to achieve it with SmartPhone apps nor by modifying a Python script that works for other Airthings devices.

I also need this, I have a location that doesn't usually have internet connection, and would like local logging.

Good thing I found this before buying. Will get a wave plus then instead of the view plus.

I am using Home Assistant, polling the data from the cloud. Usually I prefer local integrations, for various reasons. I brought my next sensor from air-Q, supporting not only cloudfree communication but it even works on the go, if you take the device e.g. to your work it just opens it's own WiFi hotspot automatically and you can fetch the data from there.

Good tip! Unfortunately doesn't have a Radon sensor. Hopefully the wave plus is good enough. BLE sounds ideal for traveling.

Jep, Radon is important and a USP of Airthings. On the other hand, if you measure Radon once you should know how your home is doing... Still I don't want to miss my View Plus in the kitchen
