Gmapcacher as map server in a web environment #284

What new or enhanced feature are you proposing?
I am currently using Gmap terminal via server client.
It would be interesting in the future could also be
used as map server in a web environment.

What goal would this enhancement help you achieve?
Use as fleet management via web.

Honestly I do not understand your request...
 - What is "Gmap terminal"?
 - A map server in a web environment, what about Yahoo, OpenStreetMap ...

This project is just a client(offline map viewer), if you are looking to set up 
your own map server you might want to start here:
http://geoserver.org/

I mean, I have installed as gmapcacher fleet management on a Windows Server
2008. Receive position data via modem gprs vehicles, and can access it from
the internet I have to do a remote desktop connection. if gmapcacher also
work via web, then the connection would not be necessary via Terninal
server.

If you know a web server application that can use the .png maps downloaded
by gmapcacher let me know.

        I am developing map application for vehicle tracking i want to use gmapcatcher as map server.
