We need:

Enemy hive (not an ant hill, please!) more like a overhanging of leaves and
sticks and things, basically bugs crawl out from under it.
Our hero.
A chair or something for him to sit on (these need to be separate so when
we do specials it doesn't screw up ;) )

The UI bar (this should look either like a fence - meh - or like a porch
with railing - would be better, give it an obvious lawn look)

Animated Beetle (can be 32x32 max)
Animated Wasp (can be any size, but like 45x45 would probably be best?)
Worm (dunno how you'll do this one, gotta be no more than 30x30 though, if
it can't work this can be removed easily enough)

Missile, bird food, laser, magnifying glass, machine gun, and electro towers.

A bird (doesn't even need to be animated, maybe 50x50 with wings open...)

Poison trap, bomb trap (hits everyone close by :P )

Animated netter and guard warrior bots.

A broom, a pair of feet, a spray can/bottle/thing and some green and grey
clouds (about 45x45, semi-transparent). (these are for the specials,
basically you have 3 uber specials you get once :P )

Alrighty.
I recruited some family good with art to help out, they will handle:

Enemy Hive, steps down from ui bar for hero to sit on, hero, porch thing for ui
background, and the special stuff (not the clouds, so the broom, feet, spray 
bottle)

That's it for now, but maybe more later :)

Ok, still need art:

building site (can be one or more to be progressive)
Hero, sitting (geeky kid with glasses, he sits on the grey square on the bottom 
right
of board)

Missile tower
Laser tower
Bird food tower
Electro tower

Beetle, animated
Wasp, animated (never changes direction, so just make it look nice from the 
side...)

A bird (no animation, just have it's wings spread, in flight)

A broom, a pair of feet (like untied tennis shoes maybe?), a spray can.
Grey and green large-ish clouds.

If time permits:
A missile, scraps (a couple images), rocks (a couple)
New background grass
