Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
No possibility to use voice input, I would like the voice button and the
right swipe gesture that is in the default Android 2.1

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.4.0, Android 2.1 on Nexus One

Please provide any additional information below.

I can look into how I should implement this. I don't think the code for this
from the
Android keyboard is released. Since Scandinavian languages isn't supported by
voice
recognition, I will prioritize other things higher.

Hi, now that Nordic languages (at least Finnish?) are supported for Google's
voice input, it would be great to make use of this feature in certain
situations. Right now, if I want to, say, dictate a text message, I have to
long-press ?123, Choose Input method, and choose Google Voice as an input
method. That's a bit too complicated, considering that often the situations
when Voice input would come in handy include driving a car, walking, eating or
something else that makes tapping the screen difficult.

Would it be possible to streamline this action? Say, long-pressing Space or
some other key would simply change the input method to Google Voice?

Thanks in advance for considering, and thanks for the great keyboard!

...and now even Icelandic is supported :)
I think a voice button would be preferred, something similar to the standard
Android keyboard
