Players can bypass the cancel_event on player_armor if they first put the item in their offhand through (F), then press (F) once again with cursor in their armor slot.

What Minecraft version are you using? And which CE version are you using?

I am using latest version of CE, and Minecraft is 1.20.1, but server is based on 1.17.1

Just tested with latest version of ConditionalEvents on 1.20.4, 1.18.2 and 1.17.1 and I don't have this bug.

Tell me again what you are doing. You said me at first that you were pressing F with the cursor on the armor slot.

The goal is to get the item you want to bypass in your offhand, you can open inventory, then hover over the item, and press 'F' (it will equip it in offhand. Then hover over the respective armor slot, press (F) again, and boom, it will bypass the armor equip event and all the requirements.
