Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. Nope, just that I can't control the music while I'm on the lyrics

Describe the solution you'd like Putting the lyrics centered in the song art

Describe alternatives you've considered Nothing until now, just because there's nothing to try

Additional context I'd love if the song art would go near the song title, so that while the lyrics are shown, the song art would still be visible

Here's a screenshot of the lyrics that are shown instead of song art (app credit: Oto Music): Screenshot_2024-05-18-16-38-01-939-edit_com.piyush.music.jpg

Do you often control it that way? If not, is notification sufficient?

okgamr commented 1 month ago

What do you mean by saying notification? And yes, that's the way I'm using the lyrics (I use songsync, another app whose team you are into; how many music players have you been working at?)

Innertune is open-source, I guess you could that with the devs and implement the same way they're using the lyrics (aka the lyrics are placed instead of song art)

I didn't see Otomusic's repo, so I think it's closed-source

When you swipe down on the status bar (on the top of the screen), you get into the notification panel, and you can control your music using it. Is it sufficient?

It's about compact design. Making it better to use. The notification controls are often poor and I don't really like to use it
