Cannot launch on Mountain Lion #152

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?

Download and mount the .dmg file. Drag Android Design Preview app to my
applications folder try to launch.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Instead of the application opening, I get an dialog box that says the
application is damaged and cannot be opened.

Please provide any additional information below.

I am on a mid-2009 macbook pro recently upgraded to Mountain Lion

Will have to find a Mountain Lion machine to investigate, thanks for the report.

I am also facing the same issue, when do you think you will be able to look
into it?

Using Mountain Lion now, and I don't see any issues. Which version of Java are
you using?

Does not work here on Mountain Lion here.
Got the following message in my console:
UI Agent[1502]: *** WARNING: Method userSpaceScaleFactor in class NSWindow is
deprecated on 10.7 and later. It should not be used in new applications. Use
convertRectToBacking: instead.

Using java version "1.6.0_35"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_35-b10-428-11M3811)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 20.10-b01-428, mixed mode)

Please try the following.

1. Open System Preferences > Security & Privacy
2. In the General tab, set "Allow applications downloaded from:" to "Anywhere"

Hopefully this will be a temporary workaround.
