Extra Space at the edges

1) Take any Launcher Icon 
2) Try to Select an image and Observe the Image , Extra Padding at the edges 
for more resolution Images

The Image Should fit the Screen Exactly the Area , Padding at the edges make 
the icon visible smaller on the screen

Attached is the Image for the Reference.
