Total 15 13.83 My main issue in these tasks was going above and beyond in an impactful way that would differentiate me from others. In the future, I want to improve on this by specifically working on theming all my work around specific ideas that could help me in my day-to-day life.

Presentation Memories 1 0.95 Screenshot 2024-10-09 at 12 51 30 PM I really enjoyed making a fun/interactive lesson plan with my group mates, and it was also nice to be able to help any classmates who were confused on what I was teaching.                                                                                                         Personal Experience from a classmate: I thought the rotating lesson idea was a good way to be able to learn a lot without getting too bored, and I liked the lesson overall as it allowed me to freely ask questions.
Grading and Feedback 1 0.87 Screenshot 2024-10-10 at 12 03 54 PM Screenshot 2024-10-08 at 10 28 56 PM Screenshot 2024-10-08 at 10 29 45 PM Screenshot 2024-10-08 at 10 29 54 PM We could have worked more on this by making a more detailed plan on how to deal with grading, as the grading guidelines were not as strict as they should have been.
Beyond Perfunctory 1 0.9 Screenshot 2024-10-09 at 9 17 04 PM I wanted to show what I learned through a small project that would help me practice all my skills while also being useful. I ended up creating a rudimentary calendar system (debugged using GPT) that would both reinforce my knowledge in topics such as classes and arrays while also being useful for me to organize things such as what I have to do in a specific day or what homework I still have to do. This also worked as a sort of ideation process for me to help me come up with ideas for the Spring Boot Project we are starting to lean towards.

Assignment Weightage Grade Comments
College Board Coverage 20 19 Shows a good understanding of all the college board material/units and shows it well in things like homework and Java examples
Java Examples 30 28.5 Great example of Java that shows use and mastery over the college board material and what they are used for, along with why you should use it. Also shows edge case scenarios for potential issues the user may face.
Popcorn Hack Usage 10 9 All popcorn hacks are done well, show the usage of the examples of code along with practice for the user to get better at the concepts.
Homework 10 9 Homework done well, could show a little more innovation/creativity (ex. a theme)
Grading Plan 10 8 Could be clearer in the grading process for the future, maybe consider taking more time when grading
Original an Creative 10 9.5 Unique idea to show mastery of Java skills in the form of combining lessons and teaching at the same time to increase efficiency, well done
Total 90 83 Overall, a lot of thought was put into the lesson plan and execution. The learning part of the lesson was exemplar, but the grading could have been done better, and a unifying theme might have helped make the lesson more interesting to the students. Good job!

Good job on forming your issue/going above you and beyond on your project

DavidL0914 commented 5 days ago

I like how you referenced how you guys rotated everyone in the class to learn your lessons. It helped us stay more focus as we had a smaller group to work with and more personalized feedback. Good reflection.

Went at other teams but in a funny way that displays memories and shows understanding of team teaches.

rahulverma13 commented 5 days ago

I liked how how you went over the most important units to keep it concise.

jm1021 commented 5 days ago

Blog - in association with Units and Teaching Memory - something to recall your individual presentation Relevancy - something impactful you learned Beyond Perfunctory - something that shows you want to learn

Consolidate 5, 7, 9. Classes, ArrayLists, Inheritance. Those three lessons learned to different points in Java. They did 3 rotating teams. He made an application calendar to store and use events.

SlothInTheHat commented 5 days ago

I liked how you grouped all the lessons into interconnected topics and you had a rotating lesson. I liked your project on ideation

LiliWuu commented 5 days ago

I like how you explained what units helped you grow and how you included a lot of images

Be1uga4life commented 5 days ago

I liked your presentation skills, good discussion of the rotation and teamwork. Loved the memories, very funny. I also liked the above and beyond project.

M8tth3 commented 5 days ago

I like the application that you created to demonstrate what you learned from all of the units.

JoshThinh commented 5 days ago

I like how you explained the key units with a summary and examples. I like the application you did with a code of a calendar where you utilize the different units.

TDWolff commented 5 days ago

his issue was kinda plain however his work and evidence were there, he did include many images but he did a good job of retaining student interest, he talked about his team teaching and also what he learned in a good balance.

aaguy-hue commented 5 days ago

I think it was smart of you to specifically choose a few units that you learned new things from in order to ensure that your notes were organized. I also liked your project and how you jokingly talked about other groups.

tarasehdave commented 5 days ago

Strong presentation skills and spoke well. Strong notes on a few lessons was much smarter than taking notes on all.

shuban-789 commented 5 days ago

I really like how thorough you were with your presentation. The calendar system was smart and innovative. You also managed your time pretty well.

It was nice of you to include units that you struggled with. The extra work was a nice showcase of your skills, and from your memories I can tell you had a fun time during this sprint!

Tanuj253 commented 5 days ago

Really good presentation and thorough review through the lessons
