As I understand it, this project is a vscode fork, so I was wondering if the code will be ever open sourced? Some of us are hesitant to rely on closed source software, especially when it's built on OSS.

Hey hazre! We plan to make the core editor source-available soon (i.e. can be used for any purpose besides commercial).
