Remote DNS will not connect (9.0.0) #208

I have jailbroken my PS4 on firmware 9.0.0 and am trying to use the remote DNS you host. But it doesn't work; it's asking for an SSID that I simply don't have (can it be anything?) and it fails to connect and fails to find the IP address. Everything is inputted properly and I can connect to my own wifi network just fine. Multiple people are following Mario's youtube guide on the new exploit and having the same issue.

This is not for support on the remote DNS, you did not read the thing you checked when opening this issue. So I'm closing this.

Something with 9.00 and certain ISPs are creating some incompatibility between the remote DNS and the PS4. You can try to forward port 443 to your PS4 and see if that helps. If not you may have to host locally for the time being.
