So, I press Esc then TextMate 2 freezes.

I'd recommend changing to the default textmate autocomplete, and remapping the GOCODE completion to use Opt+ESC or something similar.

I have been the same problem using opt+esc. Textmate 2 just freezes here every time I tried to use it.
