Second instance of Transmission Remote GUI is started sometimes, when torrent file is opened

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open .torrent file

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
New "Add torrent" should be shown.
Instead, sometimes the second instance of Transmission Remote GUI is
started - so I have two icons in tray, and both of them are running. The
first started GUI could be closed normally, but when I've tried to close
the second GUI, it shows some error that it couldn't write to some .ini
file (can't put the message, as I have seen it only couple of times, and
this "second instance" is appeared not very often, once on 20-30 torrent files.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Transmission Remote GUI: v1.2
Transmission Daemon: v1.75 (9117), running on DLink DNS-323 with Firmware
v1.07 (if it matters, likely not)
OS: WinXP SP2

This ahppens to me also. Usually when the original instance of TRGUI is busy
communicating with the daemon e.g. when adding a torrent. When adding another 
one a
new TRGUI window is opened (and the daemon is twice as busy sending data to 2 
clients
instead of 1)
