Dialog "Add new torrent" is behind GUI window, if it is minimized to and then re-opened from tray #142

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start Transmission Remote GUI (TR GUI)
2. Configure it so that Minimize and Close hides the program to Tray, and
minimize it to tray
3. Open in Explorer some .torrent file, so window appears in TR GUI
4. Double-click tray icon
5. Double-click tray icon again
6. Window with torrents is now in front, and not possible to press
anything, since "add torrent" window is on the back

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
When the main GUI window appeared from tray, it should not be over "add
torrent" window.
"Add torrent" dialog is somewhere behind, blocking the GUI interface.
Solved rather easy, though - either pressing again on tray icon (then the
"add torrent" is still on the screen), or by clicking window in the task
bar (so it is minimized to tray with "add torrent" window as well), and
then further click on tray icon open the window as it should - with "add
torrent" in front.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
TR GUI v1.2
WinXP SP3

same behaviour experienced. I wonder why wasn't this reported before. Sometimes
it's
a real PITA to get to the dialogue which is not visible but gets focus from the
main
window anyway. Usually Alt-Tab to FF and back solves it for me.

It's a Lazarus LCL bug. I have no idea how to fix it or how to make a
workaround...
