Sorting by #seeds does not work

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Run t-r-g on Linux (Debian or Ubuntu 9.04, 9.10, 10.04)
2. Sort torrents by Seeds column (click on Seeds column header)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Torrents should be sorted by the max seeds (not connected seeds, which is 
almost always zero).  Instead, they are sorted randomly.  

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Builds from current source.
