Mobile views are not showing background images?

Describe the bug

When viewing the demo on a mobile device, the background images are not stacking as expected?

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Open demo
2. Use a mobile device or mobile simulator
3. Notice that background images are not showing in the example page

Expected behavior

Background mages should stack or be represented in some way.
