Escaping line return in string in message from Php DeRPC soed not work properly #7

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Create a service which returns a string containing line break
2. Try to communicate with it
3. GWT cannot decode the payload of the response. 

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The string is passed without error

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
GWT 2.4
