Grey bars instead of black bars #904

In the latest version, I have encountered grey bars instead of black bars. I have scouted every option on the configuration file and the menu options but I couldn't find an option to change from one to the other. If this happens by default, it's not happening for me. Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the report, could you share your Memoria.log file (in the game directory), and a screenshot of what you mean by grey bars? Also, what's your chosen resolution and are you using widescreen?

Memoria.log I'm playing at 4:3, 640x480 (all resolutions have it though). I've tried both with Widescreen active and inactive. Both show the default "textured grey" letterbox instead of being black. I've tried every setting available, but nothing changes. Capture

Ah yes, in 4:3, this is actually expected behavior. Narrower resolutions disable the widescreen option, which reverts back to the default bars.

Is there no way to fix it? I can't get Reshade to work with this game, because that would have been a possible solution
