Some sound loops create a crackling sound that repeats every few seconds. Examples: Windmill in Dali, every time you press select to bring up Kupo help in the menus and the airship engine sound effect on the overworld. These are definitely not related to music but to sound effects. Toggling "Playstation Sounds" mod on or off does not resolve the issue.
