Lightning Return version it needs compression in the ZTR file and the algorithm you created has a bug for the texts.
Could you give me directions on how to fix this bug?
Did anyone get something to compress ZTR? auto_yus file needs compression because the game crashes if the file exceeds 256kb. This auto_yus has 190kb of the wpd file and 66kb left for the texts but with fakecompression the texts are 81kb.
Try contact the brazilian translation team, they should have tools ready to use for obvious reason... search for tribor gamer, you will found an portuguese forum.
I hate to be a pest, but it's difficult to reach you these days. Would it be possible to re-compress a ZTR before packing it back into the IMG container? I ask because XIII-2 at the very least seems heavily dependent on compression for its ZTR's. While the game will read uncompressed ZTR's, it fails at -sorting- the text in menus.
For example, try sorting monsters or items (Alphabetical Sorting) in XIII-2 with an uncompressed txtres\resident\system\txtres_us.ztr - the sorting will fail, and the monster or item list will become horribly jumbled. I've tested many different things now to try and work around this issue, but sadly I can't think of anything else that could possibly solve this.
If you have the time, I'd greatly appreciate this being added to Pulse.
