The repeated dying is a limitation of the game and its rendering, so that's a known issue. We'll be rewarding you a bug tracker for such an incredibly detailed report, as well as the sinking body issue. Thank you for your time and effort!

Thank you so much AlderonEmu! I appreciate it!! 😊
Expected Behavior
This is a two-part bug. Two odd behaviors are observed together and I have documented both for both Thalassodromeus and Hatzegopteryx.
1) It is expected that after another flying playable dies, their body would be accessible to interact with. It would be expected that the body could be eaten or have it's trophy taken from it from off of the ground.
2) It is expected when approaching another player's body, it is still and not moving.
Current Behavior
1) Currently, when a flying playble dies, when high up in the air, their body drops and clips through the ground. Currently, after killing another flying playable, their body is unable to be interacted with, reliably.
2) When leaving an area and coming back to an area where another player's character has died, the body will reload where it originally died, making it appear it is moving. This is only done when no other players are present nearby.
I have attached a YouTube video demonstrating this happening with both Thalassodromeus and the Hatzegopteryx. I have been able to reproduce this multiple times, throughout the map where there are areas of uneven ground, such as The Mudflats. I have also seen this happen in areas such as Hot Springs and in Grand Plains, within the flatter dirt area around Impact Crater.
Timestamps: 0:00- Thala kills another Thala. The body disappears when it hits the ground.
0:41- When flying away, then flying back into an area, the body appears to fall from the place that it originally died from. For flying playables, the body spawns high in the air and falls to the ground, clipping into the ground.
0:50- The wings of the dead Thala are able to be seen for a moment, but the body is unable to be interacted with.
1:02- Second attempt the fly away from the body and come back. Body falls from the sky again but is unable to be interacted with.
1:19- A Hatz kills another Hatz. When the body hits the ground, it is unable to be interacted with.
2:12- When flying away, then flying back into an area, the body appears to fall from the place that it originally died from. For flying playables, the body spawns high in the air and falls to the ground, clipping into the ground.
2:25- The Hatz body is unable to be interacted with.
2:27- Second attempt the fly away from the body and come back. Body falls from the sky again but is unable to be interacted with.
Reproduction Steps
Load onto a flying playable with a friend. Go to an area that is flat, but slightly bumpy. Do not attempt around rocks or water. One recommended area is The Mudflats.
Have both players fly high into the air. You do not have to reach the hight limit, but this appears more often when higher in elevation.
Kill the other flying playable. It's body with fall through he ground.
Attempt to interact with the body, it will disappear into the ground and be inaccessible.
If alone in an area, attempt to fly away and come back to the spot the other player was killed. The body will respawn in the air where the player was originally killed at, and fall down through the ground again.
