4 years ago happening still in 0.0.0. 6622, if sprint is pressed in mid-air it does not register when you land, and you have to re-press sprint in order to actually run
Expected Behavior: When pressing the Sprint button in midair (e.g when falling towards a predator), the animal will begin to sprint when on the ground and in motion.
Current Behavior: When pressing the Sprint button in midair, the animal will not begin to sprint when on the ground and in motion.
Reproduction Steps:
-Spawn as Camptosaurus or Latenivenatrix on the Single Player map demo. -Become airborne. -Release (if pressed) and press the Sprint button. -Upon landing, you will not begin to sprint. Stopping or jumping again will not initiate sprinting.
Evidence (Screenshots & Videos)
Summary of video due to poor quality- Latenivenatrix walks off of a rock. While in midair, the Sprint button is pressed. Letting go of non-sprint keys, performing a threat display, and jumping do not change the lack of activation. https://gfycat.com/welllittotalfulmar
