File google-services.json is missing. The Google Services Plugin cannot function without it. Searched Location: D:\xxx\FirebaseAndroidChat\app\src\debug\google-services.json D:\xxx\FirebaseAndroidChat\app\google-services.json

Getting Started

Add Firebase to your Android Project. Copy the google-services.json file you just downloaded into the app/ or mobile/ directory of your Android Studio project. Select the Auth panel and then click the Sign In Method tab. Click Google and turn on the Enable switch, then click Save

I've added google-services.json into my app folder, enabled Google Sign In and still not working. Need to configure anything more?

i have the same problem here i dont know where to find this 2 files thaks in advance -- i found the file

i have this problem now

Error:Execution failed for task ':auth:processReleaseGoogleServices'.

No matching client found for package name 'com.firebase.ui.auth'
