OpenGL Error (false negative) #57

The code added in r676 for OpenGL support detection does not work correctly and 
seems to produce false negatives. (confirmed on my and Wojtek's machine)

I suggest either removing the code again for the immediate 7.5 release, or 
improving/fixing it. The former is probably the better solution for now.

Turns out this was just a dummy window, that had been forgotten - fixed in r685.
