I like the design of uniswap, so initially we could aim to replicate that, but open to suggestions. https://app.uniswap.org/

I agree - would say homepage should include search bar as the main element and beneath maybe a carousel of 'cuisines'. As seen on https://www.yummly.co.uk/. But overall minimalistic.

Yeah so the overall aim should be to do everything as minimalistic as possible and to not go over the top with features. I'm gonna write a summary of the main features/ethos of what we want to achieve, in readme file.

My idea for the home page was to make it a bit like a twitter feed, but I want the search bar centre top and big. It will need to cater for both logged in and not logged in users, so will require a little back and stuff as well.
