I found your implementation of an ES very interesting and descriptive! I read all the Markdown comments, and I loved how clearly they describe what you did.
I noticed that you pick a range span of possible moves, and it's a nice idea because I didn't think about it. Your tournament_selection function is brief but very intuitive and well written 😄
You also used an interesting crossover strategy using a bias, that's also quite remarkable. You also did a huge effort in plotting your results, and indeed it is amazing to look at the plots you realized!
