Continuous pinging fics.org may be intrusive #810

I'm not sure, but maybe a Ping button should be enough.

I don't thinking continuously pinging them is bad, as long as the interval 
between pings is reasonable. Maybe we should just change the interval from 1 
second to say, 10 seconds?
