Sprite Blinking Not Working #183

Closed PinaColada101 closed 10 months ago

Hello! I really love your code here, the actual invulnerability frames work great! However, I can't seem to get my sprite to blink. I have the code put in just as you stated, and I made a new 2D object Model Sprite and put it under my main Player Object. However, the Player still does not seem to blink when contacting an enemy. Any ideas?

Hi! It's hard to say without seeing the code. Another user suggested swapping out the material/shader for the player object rather than scaling it; maybe that would work better?

Thanks, I will try this out!

Hi! It's hard to say without seeing the code, but I'd recommend taking a look at this thread to see if anything there may be helpful: #32https://github.com/AleksandrHovhannisyan/aleksandrhovhannisyan.com/issues/32. (Note: That's the official comment section for my article.) Another user suggested swapping out the material/shader for the player object rather than scaling ithttps://github.com/AleksandrHovhannisyan/aleksandrhovhannisyan.com/issues/32#issuecomment-1278194978; maybe that would work better? Again, hard to say what's wrong in your case.
