View > Options > Playback > When opening audio file, = hide the video area
Also try MPC-BE ~1.6.11.254~ 1.6.11.255 or later when available.
View > Options > Playback > When opening audio file, = hide the video area
The above screenshots are with that option selected.
I will try the nightly release and let you know if this regression is fixed in that.
You can also try 1.6.11.253.
1.6.11.254 is broken.
Thanks, it looks like it is working again in 1.6.11.253 👍
Any idea when this is going to come out on a stable release?

We don't use the term "stable" for releases. Releases are stages of development. Therefore, you can use nightly builds.
Official releases will be released when ready.
It does not appear possible to reduce the video frame below 32 pixels in height, regardless of if a logo is selected in
Player -> Logo
or notThis is most noticeable when playing audio files as previously the video area was completely hidden whereas now it shows an area that cannot be reduced below 347x32 pixels.
It looks like this is a regression introduced in 1.6.11. I am currently running 1.6.11 on Windows 10 x64. Versions prior to 1.6.11 do not exhibit this problem.
