I happens... sometimes. Machines are still functioning, so I assume that it's only a visual glitch. http://imgur.com/sVwJzkF

Nope. I was fooling around with some other machines in that world and it still was like that.

does a Block Update fix it?

I'll test that at home. I need to place some blocks around it to trigger the update, right?
