Seems to be crashing every single time, sometimes showing the page crashed screen with the message saying Out of memory. Version 109.0.5362.0 (Official Build) (64-bit), Windows 10 64bit Home, 8gb ram

@skver0 Hello, there are some problems with the AVX2 version at present, and the specific reasons are still being investigated. If it is convenient, please use the regular version in the Thorium-win repository first.

Thanks but I’m intrested in avx2 builds of chrome in general. I’ll wait till it gets fixed then.

@skver0 The regular version also has good optimization, please use it with confidence

Please check if the new version solves the problem you encountered

@skver0

Please make sure you are using the Thorium browser, I see that the error popup you provided shows chrome.exe, and please make sure your processor and system can support the new avx2 version

In addition, please completely uninstall the old version before updating the Thorium browser, and then install

@skver0 @gz83 Yeah you must not be doing something right. Thorium has thorium.exe not chrome.exe.

Oops forgot to answer, reinstalling fixed it, everything seems to be working now. Thanks and sorry for my delayed response.
