OS: Windows 11 Pro
Thorium Version M124.0.6367.218 - 40th Release

Problem Some UI element colours are bugged. No matter what theme or colours I choose, the background and texts remains red. Screenshots Additional Notes

I was updating from 39th version to 40th version and this happened

can confirm. same bug. reverted back to the 39th release.

also wanted to say that the new thorium side panel has really cool buttons and look, dont remove it mind you my fellow devs, appreciate it

It's a problem with M124 releases, since Google is deprecating the old UI, if the devs want to keep the old UI as the default one it needs to be fixed.

You just can't, we have to see if in the new milestone will be fixed by the dev, for now I'll stick with the 39th release which it the last having a fully functional old UI. I don't know though since this is a Google thing that is deprecating the old clean UI for that stupid enormous new refresh UI with huge paddings and scrollings in context menus (for screens lower than 4K and that have 125% screen scaling instead of 100%)
