None of your recent builds have sync working!

I just says that I have to login to my google account, but nothing happens when I login...

It still says that I have to login to my google account...

@ecsjjgg Add yourself to this google group. > https://groups.google.com/u/1/a/chromium.org/g/google-browser-signin-testaccounts

This is per the official documentation at https://www.chromium.org/developers/how-tos/api-keys/#signing-in-to-chromium-is-restricted

Even though I purchased a quota for the google sync api, since March 15 2021 it seems that no api keys besides the official google chrome ones (which are restricted and proprietary and changed with each release) will work without being added to this google group. Google was perfectly fine for over a decade, and then all of a sudden restricted API Keys, much to the howl and complaint of linux package maintainers and chromium devs.

I didn't notice because I am subscribed to that group, but when I tested with a burner gmail account, I found that sync was indeed broken. Thanks for letting me know and I will post this info in the releases.
