@Davy49 Rebasing it is hard and takes alot of work. I always built to the latest minor version of a branch, which means waiting until the next major version is out. However, usually the latest minor version backports security fixes from the next major version anyway. So, it really is not that much less secure than the latest. Even Edge and Opera don't get builds out the same day as a new Chromium version. However, there will always be things that aren't backported. Releasing a new major Thorium version on the same day as Chromium is just too much work. It takes me 6-8 hours of very intensive work to rebase, and then I have to build all the releases for all the platforms. (Luckily @gz83 helps me with the Windows builds). So, if this is a deal breaker for you, I understand, but just understand my side in that it is hard for a single person to keep up with Chromium on a 1:1 basis.
So far I'm still just evaluating the thorium windows version browser, one thing that I've noticed is the fact that even though the latest version is up to date as far as the thorium browser itself is concerned, it's always at least one version behind the official chromium version, for the sake of security wouldn't it be safer to have the same exact version of official chromium version included in the thorium browser ?
