N5 Widget Not Updating

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Widget not updating as often as lock screen widget or as often as the widget 
on my N7 Wifi

What is the expected output? What do you see instead? Lock screen widget and 
home screen widget should contain same info.

What version of the product are you using? version 1.6

Which device and Android version are you experiencing this issue on? Comparing 
Nexus 5 to Nexus 7 Wifi. Both on Kit Kat 4.4.2

Are you using a custom launcher or ROM? If so, which one? Note that custom
launchers and ROMs are not supported. No - stock only

Please provide any additional information below.

My N5 is experiencing similar problems.  Most most extensions saved to the lock 
screen widget on showing up at all.  A couple show up & work ok, and custom 
ones show up on screen but don't function properly.
