AlexHorovitz / Ohlfs-font-to-ttf-conversion

Among the many UI accomplishments by Keith Ohlfs at NeXT is this wonderful little font. It has never been modernized to work on the current version of the OS and unfortunately Keith passed away this year (October 26th, 2016). Anyone who is willing to help in this effort is invited to join.

Convert BDF fonts to TTF and OTF #2

I tried this via FontForge and wound up with empty output. It might necessary to create an outline font, even if you're not planning to use it.

Generating .dfont ("Mac bitmap only") from FontForge does produce something that Font Book understands. Each BDF is converted to SFNT with fonttosfnt (freedesktop.org) with a .ttf extension and imported before generation. There's a problem where pixel size on import is off by a pixel for some sizes.

This is only Regular which raises the question of Bold and Italic... if they existed?

The fonts above are added to this repo. Somebody should make OTF from the TTF if possible.

The current TTF is not liked by online OTF converters or online web font packagers.
