Dear Alex,

I have some changes. The idea is to make possible to thumbnails in links.

I need it for colorbox. The original image is too huge to be used.

Merged, added Python 3 support, and more resillience (some of my don't have 'href' attributes for instance).

Released version 0.2.0 with your change.
