3 weeks ago Tame Tarantula can help you against mosquito. Or with a maxed sword, you kill them in a few hit. Or une the mod bad-mods to vanish them.

Hi, I really just don't like the crimson mosquito, I haven't gotten far enough in the nether to encounter any other mob, and this might be a skill issue, but they're constantly spawning around in the crimson forest, and every time I go in the nether, 3 or 4 mosquitos swarm me and start sucking off of me and spitting blood pellets at me, and it makes it really annoying to fight a crimson mosquito or to run away from one, because it'll knock you around constantly, which will reset the nether teleporting time, and then they come into the overworld, and they're somehow even worse.
They'll follow you around non-stop and can come out of the nether to just be a horrible nuisance, I can't run around and do anything until I kill all of the mosquitos following me, and I try retreating into water while I'm being sucked on and shot at constantly, and it starts to get really glitchy when you swim around while engaged with a crimson mosquito. If it's on you, it'll stop hurting and sucking on you, but it'll keep playing the sucking animation, so you have a pulsating mosquito stick mouth in your face, and I'm not sure if they can swim in the water and be submerged, but they will wait above the layer of water, but you can also just sit and wait forever underwater with a crimson mosquito stuck to your face because it gives you air and stops you from drowning in water and also from taking damage, but I was legitimately thinking I was stuck in hell and that these glitchy bugs were tormenting me literally.
It genuinely shocked me how slapped up I got just trying to peek in the nether. I can't be in there for 10 seconds lest I be noticed for how not dead I am. At first when I installed Alex's Mobs, I really liked most of the animals and enemies it adds, even though I hate the birds that steal your food, it's a fun little extra mechanic to add, but crimson mosquito is not interesting, or fun, or add a new fleshed out mechanic that's likeable, I think they only make a blood squirt gun, but I'm not gonna make that after being buttrammed 3 times by stupid flying red bugs. This mod no fun I no like when the bugs kill me and then act extra scary in the overworld please fix
