1 month ago Catfish with an item or mob in their mouth do not despawn. This happened to me when I built my base near a river. The Catfish would constantly eat seeds, ink sacks from beached Squids, and Hardened Clay that I made in the river.
Looks like sometimes catfishes not despawns and creates a lot of lags. This behaviour was encountered on 1.19.2 modpack (original issue). Disabling this mob in config and killing all catfishes(kill command reported amount of ~200 killed mobs) mitigated this issue. Result of profiling: https://spark.lucko.me/UDjq9YBFBi
