A maze with a Minotaur would be a great addition

So would Cerberus, anything new in the Nether would be awesome, maybe guarding the area were the Ifrit boss spawns

A Manticore would awesome too, always missed the ones from Mo Creatures since they haven't updated that mod in a while. could have them hunt passive mobs from the sky with its scorpion tail, could even have it drop the tail

Imps - A small devil looking creature around the size of a Pixie or a Vex, Could work like a Pixie were they fly around and shoot little bolts of fire at you when another mob agros you like an opportunist, but if you tame them with something, say a blaze rod, they follow you around, give you fire resistance, and shoot fire at enemies for you

Harpies - A women faced bird creature that lives in the mountains. would fly above the player like Phantoms and attempt to pick them up and fly off with them to drop them to there death. Could make an item out of there drops to ward off Phantoms so your not punished for sleeping anymore

Dire Wolves - A Larger, more hostile wolf that uses pack tactics to hunt prey, circling the target until ready to attack all at once. If you beat the Alpha you become the new one, being able to ride one while the rest follow as a pack

Oni - Magical ogre creatures stalk players for a while before they attack, if player sees the Oni before they are ready they turn invisible and disappear. Once ready they use whatever magic they have against you. Red Oni use wands of Fire bolt, Blue use Ice to freeze foes in place, Yellow call down Lightning, and Green have a special wand with an AOE heal ability it uses in fights. They drop there wands on death.

Giants - a race of large humanoid creatures with grey skin and armored in animal skin and masks. They uses large bows, slings, and tree trunk clubs to defend the mountain camps they live in. If your able to prove your strength to them by surviving there attacks long enough they become peaceful to you. You can bring the skulls of creatures you kill for rewards, with the largest dragon skulls giving you a horn you can blow into that summons a group of giants to help you in a fight, the horn is only one use

Jorogumo - A Giant Spider, Underground Mini Boss, Summons other smaller spiders to swarm the player and shoots webs to trap them in place. Killing it can give you the items needed to make a pair of boots that let you climb walls as if they were ladders

Basilisk - A large lizard creature and another mini boss, But since the Gorgon already turns enemies to stone, to avoid feeling like a copy paste, it can turn its scales to stone for extra defense as it charges like a Rhino. Killing one has a chance to drop an egg you can hatch into a mount, and the Basilisk would be immune to the Gorgon's stone stare

Dryads - A creature made of wood and vine, spawns if you cut down too many trees in a short amount of time. They also form groups to protect small berry bush sized plants that grow golden apples overtime. I done know if it should be normal or enchanted golden apples though.

Valkyrie - The Only Big Boss idea I got, a tall women with Large Angelic Wings, armed with a sword and shield. She only spawns if you murder all the villagers in a village within a day to make you pay for your crimes. Uses various light beams and sword attacks. if you beat her, you get a Valkyrie Feather that you can use as an unlimited firework for an elytra
