There could be a structure which is a castle. It has knights that spawn in it. They are NPCs that wear silver armour and have either silver weapons/tools, a bow, or dragon bone things. They attack any mob on sight, hostile or not hostile. They are neutral towards players (knights only attack players if they are hit by said player). If one knight is hit all knights nearby attack player. There is a sort of semi-boss that is called The General. One spawns in each castle and you can find them in the throne room of the castle. They are neutral. They have flamed or iced (or lightning soon) swords. The normal knights will rally to The General if he is attacked and use various strategies (flank, ambush, distract, head on attack etc) to attack you or anything that hits him. If you defeat The General then the knights will obey you, you can have them follow you, guard a certain area or mob of player offensively or defensively, they can also build stuff. You can give them a blueprint (a new item) and they will build it, you just need one of every type of block needed for the structure and give it to them, they can build in groups of by themselves.
Sometimes they will be riding horses. You can manually mount them once you control them.
Knights have 20 hp and do the normal damage that you do when holding a silver sword. They also have full silver armour
The General has 150 hp and does the normal damage that you do when holding a flamed/iced sword the General has extra passive defence as well as his armour.
When knights are under your control you can make them wear different armour and hold different weapons/items. You can also use their inventory as storage.
Nice blueprint building idea. Some of the blueprints could be elaborate dragon stables or roosts or even a basic castle which would take awhile to build.
