3 years ago Dragons will already attack the animals in villages, and the collateral of that usually causes a big fight between the dragon and the iron golems/guard-villagers. If a village spawns with a cow or sheep pen and a dragon roost is nearby enough to see it, usually the dragon will torch/smite/freeze the village in its effort to get at the animals.
The title speaks for itself, suggesting it because I am using another mod that adds guards to villages. This could work ahnd and hand to add more depth to the game, could be interesting.

^^ This is the mod if ever interested in working with the creator or to collab on a project. Could be very interesting to add more types of villagers, to be able to hire them to hunt a Ice and Fire mob alongside your, etc.
