Dumb pathfinding while in water for ice dragons [2.1.9-1.16.5]

Describe the bug Ice dragons are good swimmers but they do not know how to go from point A to point B while in water, although they can follow you in land or while in the air.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior: Order a dragon to follow you (escort) Cross a river

Expected behavior The dragon crosses the river next to you

What happens The dragon jumps into the water only to do a quick U turn and go back to the shore.

Sometimes the dragon goes mad deep into the river and slams his head against the river bed/wall

Screenshots I can provide media if requested but I dunno is really needed

Additional context I guess somewhere in the code there is a instruction to make dragons go to land quickly if not ridding by any player.. idk

I don't known if this is related but going swimming with a baby dragon in your shoulder after a while the dragon teleports to the closest shore.
