For example, the number of detected patients with diabetes is an order of magnitude smaller than it should be.

In the CIE9 multilevel dictionary, I am using the CCS extracted from the column 'CCS LVL 3 LABEL', which were in square brackets. It turns out that it has a lot of empty fields. The CCS are in square brackets, but spread over several columns.... CCS 49 and 50 do not appear in the column I was using. This corresponds to 97770 more patients. This also happens with other diseases (about 7000 codes currently do not have CCS for that reason).

I have seen on the internet that in ICD10CM, codes starting with E11, E13 are also diabetes. There are approximately 22000 patients with those codes, and it is possible that some of those are not being detected because of some similar problem, I will look into it. It is also possible that these are precisely the ones we are detecting. Anyway, I will go through that dictionary.
