At present I use fswatch which is supposed to be cross-platform. Now I need to test it out on multiple platforms.

[ ] Check operation of fswatch on Linux (and Windows?)
[ ] Add any wrapping that is required to get make red green work on other platforms using fswatch

There may be a better option out there somewhere.
