User should know what version of application he is using so he could update when needed.

Display current version of application. Get latest version number from https://github.com/AlexZhidkov/BedfordHarbourBOM/releases/latest and if different display info label that newer version is available. Have Hyperlink to latest version so user can easily go and get it.
