1.5a1 on Leopard 10.5.1: "Failed to load the Visor plugin" when Terminal first opened. Seems to work just fine. #21

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. On Leopard 10.5.1, copy Visor.bundle to /Users/paulj/Library/Application
Support/SIMBL/Plugins
2. Run Terminal
3. Get pop-up dialog showing:

SIMBL Error
Failed to load the Visor plugin.
-[QCComposition _initWithBacking:]: Inconsistent state

Visor then appears to work normally. I don't know if this is a problem with
Visor's SIMBL
implementation or with Visor itself.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect no error pop-up.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Leopard 10.5.1 9B18 on Macbook Pro 15", Version 2.0 (237), Visor 1.5a1 I hope
(it is shown in
About as 1.2, as already reported), SIMBL 0.8.2

Please provide any additional information below.
Visor still appears to work just fine (thanks very much, I really like it!) but
thought I should
report this anyway.

Cheers,

Paul.

see defect #26 for a workaround (disable background quartz animation in the
visor
preferences)

Same issue. Having a check to see if the quartz animation file exists on launch
would solve.

Awesome! Disabling quartz animation in visor preferences got rid of the
message. It
also returned my terminal to it's default stylings.

Quartz bells and whistles removed altogether. Fixed in Visor 1.6
